Obsidian Broadband is a Central Texas fiber infrastructure company built on more than a decade of hands-on experience working with fiber-optic networks. We bring that field experience to broadband, data center, commercial, and telecommunications infrastructure where workmanship, testing, organization, and execution matter.

Our Foundation
Experience came before the company.
Obsidian Broadband was built from more than a decade spent working directly with fiber infrastructure in the field. That experience includes the realities that do not always appear on a drawing: high-count fiber, production schedules, network modifications, troubleshooting, restoration, testing requirements, project coordination, and the responsibility that comes with working on active networks.
The company was created around a straightforward idea: specialized fiber work should be performed with the same level of discipline whether the scope is a production build, a planned cutover, a commercial backbone, a data center environment, or a restoration.
Today, Obsidian applies that field-first approach across a broader fiber infrastructure scope while keeping splicing, testing, and network performance at the center of how we work.
